14/3 A closely fought game with us taking an early lead. Isleham managed to pull it back to 1-1 just before half time . Regretably dispite us playing a storming game we conceeded just before the final whistle. Good effort guys

14/2 For the first 10 min's everything went well - until we conceded a penalty, from there it was down hill all the way. Such a shame the adeline and passion was not focused at the football, We where up against it. By half time we where three nil down and had collected as many yellow card,. by the end of the game as a team you had conceded 7 goals , collected 4 yellows and 1 red . An appalling display and not one we can repeat. an expensive day!!..

7/2 It was a fantastic end to end game with lots of action. We played a strong game , repeatedly coming back to keep the scores level until late in the second half when Alconbury just managed to hold their lead. Great goal keeping and strong defending made each goal difficult for Alconbury, Our strong midfield meant that we dominated much of the game in an area we have been a little weak in the past both Jack and Connor played well up front chasing down the ball. The Three new guys Connor, Joe and Luke made a valuable contribution to the team. Well done guys. Some more of the same next week and we wont go far wrong!!

24/1 We got off to a cracking start which left Cambs Musketeers licking their wounds , unfortunately it was short lived as they came back to equalize and then shortly after that take the lead. HT saw us 3.1 down despite playing some good physical football. Unfortunately Cambs Musketeers scored their 4th and final goal with about 5 min's to go till the end of the game. Good effort keep guys remember to keep our shape a little more. MOM Bradley

17/1 Following a series of cancelled games due to the weather we had a hastily rescheduled venue due to Witchford's pitch been unplayable due to flooding. It was an exciting game with lots of opportunity, Kieren looked like bringing home the bacon when a silly penalty by peter game them the chance to go home with a a point each

2010

6/12 Away at Papworth saw us doing most of the running only to have it stolen from us with a six minutes to go, a valiant effort and an unfortunate result means we have to wait for another day. Well done guys - Brilliant effort and good teamwork.

29/11 The coaching is working we just need to stick to the structure. Pulled back a early lead but lost it later in the game. Talk to each other and it will start to come together. Next week keep the ball on the ground and play football

22/11 Alan's coaching is working. Excellent play for the first 25 min's when we held our own, unlucky to concede our first goal and let it slip a little, became a little ragged before restoring order and hey we managed to pull one back, much better, more enthusiasm, more effort, more everything well done

8/11 Remembrance Sunday. Those boys from Chesterton where lucky they did not get their arses kicked by 10 men. Well done guys you played brilliant. Good calling , accurate passing and great team work worked a treat.

1/11 Cambs Cup. Stayed at home and got thrashed 6-0

25/10 Match cancelled everyone on holiday

18/10 Went all the way to Waterbeach to be beaten 6-0

4/10 Despite a bold effort knocked out the Hunts Cup 10-0 now we can focus on the league and the Cambs Cup.

27/9 Well what a change to last week , fantastic football and a great game all round. This is how it went. Team talk, warm up and lets play football. 6 min's in Ryan brought down by two big guys, Jake N converted from the penalty spot. Burwell respond with two quick attacks which are foiled by Greg's great goal keeping - he must have been reading the book. 20 min's in Jacks on fire great goal with a fantastic turn of speed - lets see more of that. Before HT Burwell pulled one back after beating our defense.HT 2-1 Everyone is playing really well , great positional play and working hard, calling and good passing. Second half sees some really great play in the early stages despite the heat - its a beautiful sunny day and just great for watch a game of football. 3 more goals are to come in the second half Kieren a long run beats the defense and from a tight angle slots it into the back of the net, a long throw and a flick on and its number 4 , Kieren's second. Ryan sees a shot cleared off Burwell's goal line by their defense. Our final goal comes from a free kick , Ollie puts it back to Peter to consolidates our lead and makes the end score 5-1 Supporters MOM was Kieren only just piping Jack to the post

WELL DONE EVERYONE GREAT GAME Well Played

20/9 Well, despite Mr McTaggart's best efforts it was a long way to go to loose 6 - 1, away from home at Isleham, with a hard pitch and a Midfield that we had left in Great Paxton it was not one of our better days. McT our stand-in goalie tried but was unable to keep the ball out the net. Our defense of Josh FC, Jacob, Max and Josh T in the first half, and Peter in the second, all did a great job, needless to say MOM can from the one of this group of player, Josh FC took MOM. Well the rest of the team sorry guys you don't get a mention other than CAN DO BETTER!!

3/9 Home to Hundon Hawks, We must remember to set the alarm 5 min's early next week, because we had not woken up before Greg was picking the ball out the net, certainly the quickest goal ever scored against us . I blame the wind, and not from what I ate the night before. Hundon were leading at halftime 0.3 , it would had been more if Greg had not pulled off numerous saves and despite some great football against the wind we had been unable to score. The change of ends helped us and with the wind behind us we were soon 3-3 The first after Kieren was bought down in the box and Jake N converted. Our second and third came from Ash. Unfortunately this come back was only short lived as Hunden then managed to score two more. MOM was Jacob for his overall efforts in defense , Greg came a close second. Well Done Guys keep it up and lets hear some calling!!

Our first game of the season went well with us winning away from home against Bar Hill 2-3 (HT2-1). Match fitness needs a little work but like all premiership teams it takes a little time to get back in the stride of things. Bar Hills early lead was a bit of a shock but Ollie's first goal which came from a header made the score a little more respectable when we stopped at half time . The second half saw us pick up the pace with some great football . Kieren make it 2-2, following a run at the defence. Ollie scored his second with a great shot from the edge of the box.

Our new signing Jacob Manlow played some storming football in defence as did Max, who, as usual, put in a strong performance. Greg played well in his new role - for this game - as keeper. Kieren wore out the pitch tearing around as he does. Ryan received a number of MOM nominations from his supporters but this games MOM - and for the first time in his career was Jake McT who worked extremely hard and made some game changing throw-in's. WELL DONE EVERYONE GREAT RESULT.
